Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers Announces First Annual Summer Slider Eating Contest

Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers is launching its First Annual Summer Slider Eating Contest, with a qualifying round on June 17 at all 14 metro Phoenix locations. Each location will host 10 amateur contestants who must finish 30 sliders in under 10 minutes, with winners advancing to the championship round at Scottsdale’s 4th of July Celebration at WestWorld. Qualifier winners receive a $50 gift card, while all participants get a $25 gift card and a T-shirt. The championship showdown on July 4 will take place on the event’s mainstage before a crowd of over 15,000, where finalists will compete for the $500 grand prize and a Gold Canyon Meat Box. The high-stakes eating contest is part of Scottsdale’s largest indoor patriotic festival, featuring entertainment, fireworks, and family-friendly activities.
