Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers donated $5,100 to the Arizona Law Enforcement Canine Association (ALECA) through its Cold Beers Cares initiative. The donation stemmed from selling over 10,000 Blue Moon Belgian White beers in November 2021, with a portion of each sale benefiting ALECA, a nonprofit dedicated to training, educating, equipping, and supporting Arizona’s law enforcement K9 teams. The check presentation event, which included police handlers, K9s, and a giant check, occurred at the Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers location in Scottsdale. Launched in 2019, the Cold Beers Cares initiative continued to aid Arizona nonprofits monthly, with a subsequent collaboration planned with ALECA in July 2022 for the “Dog Days of Summer” campaign, supporting ALECA and two other local nonprofits through select beverage sales.
